Integrated Osteopathic Trainer & Manual Therapist |
Founder, SolCore Fitness & Therapy
If you’ve been searching for real results with Ekemba Sooh, manual therapist and trainer, you’re in the right place.
Whether you’re dealing with pain or just tired of the same old workouts and therapy routines… you know something’s not working.
Maybe you’ve done yoga, PT, strength training, massage, mobility exercises, or a combo of different classes. Maybe you’re in pain — or maybe you just feel like your body isn’t adapting the way it should.
You want more than another isolated fix. You want a system that helps you feel strong, mobile, and confident in your body — not just now, but for the long haul.
As a manual therapist and trainer, I’ve helped people who’ve tried yoga, PT, massage, strength training, or a random mix of classes finally get on a program that supports their goals and leaves them feeling strong, capable, and empowered.
I started as an athlete. I played soccer, swam, ran track, and earned a football scholarship to a Division I college. But performance didn’t mean health. After I stopped playing, I gained weight, felt stiff, and disconnected from my body.
I wasn’t injured or in pain — but I didn’t feel good. And that discomfort led me to ask bigger questions.
So I dove in. I empowered myself to lose 65 pounds. I didn’t just change my body — I changed my mindset. I got curious about what true health really means.
That curiosity led me to study nutrition, physiology, emotional health, training, and manual therapy. And what I discovered reshaped everything I now do as a manual therapist and trainer. I realized I wasn’t broken — I just needed to realign with how the body actually works.
After college, I became a personal trainer. I earned certifications through ISSA, ACE, NASM, and the CHEK Institute. I worked with athletes and everyday people. I even spent years inside chiropractic clinics supporting clients in pain.
But despite doing everything “right,” I got hurt — a disc bulge at L4/L5 and chronic sciatica that just wouldn’t go away. None of my training methods could fix it. And none of the professionals I consulted could explain why things weren’t improving.
That was my second turning point. Not just physically, but philosophically.
I realized all the knowledge I had was fragmented. Nothing fit together — and that was the problem.
Because the human body does fit together. Profoundly. It’s not a machine of parts — it’s a living, adapting, intelligent system.
So I searched again. This time for a model that could explain the body as a whole — and guide real, lasting change.
That’s when I discovered Guy VOYER.
Guy’s osteopathic system brought everything into focus. I began to understand the body through the lenses of:
I trained directly under Guy for 15 years, becoming both a Soma Trainer and Soma Therapist, and learned techniques like ELDOA, myofascial stretching, and segmental strengthening.
That journey shaped everything I do today as Ekemba Sooh — a manual therapist and trainer helping others find their own path to lasting strength, better posture, and real resilience.
This wasn’t just a new set of tools — it was a new way of seeing.
And that’s when I stopped training… and started guiding.
Most people separate manual therapy and training. They see hands-on work as one category and movement as another.
But your body doesn’t separate them — and as Ekemba Sooh, manual therapist and trainer, neither do I.
I integrate both into a unified, fascia-based system that adapts to what your body needs right now. Sometimes that means manual therapy. Sometimes movement. Often both. Always guided by principle, not protocol.
This system is rooted in osteopathic philosophy and powered by lived experience. I’ve spent decades refining it with real people — from pain clients to high performers.
The result? A process that helps your body heal, grow, and adapt in real time — whether you’re seeking relief, strength, or simply a better way to move.
This approach works best for people who are:
Whether you’re rebuilding from injury or training for longevity, this system meets you where you are — and helps your body become more adaptable, capable, and supported.
Every person is different — but the structure stays the same:
Assess – I look at how your structure is organized: posture, joint quality, spinal tension, breath, fascia, and more
Treat – We use osteopathic manual therapy to restore lost motion and reduce tension
Train – You’re guided through fascia-based training to support and reinforce structural integrity
Adapt – As your body shifts, so does the plan
Whether you’re working with me in person, in a group class, with some friends or online, this system helps you build strength and freedom from the inside out.
Whether you’re trying to heal from pain or you’re simply curious about how to move better, feel stronger, and stay mobile as you age — this system is for you.
You don’t have to fight your body to improve it. You don’t need to wait for something to break down before seeking a better way.
You need a system that respects how your body actually works — one that helps you reorganize, repattern, and adapt, so you can live, train, and move with more confidence, clarity, and ease.
This is about more than recovery. It’s about building a structure that supports the life you want to live — now and long into the future.
That’s what I offer.
I founded SolCore Fitness & Therapy to help people who are ready to stop guessing and start healing — or evolving.
If that’s you, let’s talk.
You wake up without stiffness. You move without guarding. You train without fear. You live without pain as the background noise.
That’s not just possible — it’s expected when you work with your body as a system, not a stack of symptoms.
I’d be honored to help you experience that.
