Set The Bar High For Yourself While Managing Your Expectations.

Setting big, scary goals is exciting.

But it’s also quickly disheartening too many times when we fail to support our efforts by managing expectations. Most of the time, the problem isn’t that the goal’s too big or grandiose. It’s that we’re not setting reasonable expectations about reaching it.

Here’s an example that’s super-oversimplified just to make the point.

Let’s say you’re wanting to correct your posture and increase your strength that has declined over the past 10-20 years

Is that a reasonable goal?

Absolutely!👏🏽

Now, let’s say you expect this to happen in two weeks. 🧐

Is that a realistic expectation?

Absolutely not!👎🏽

And yet I hear from people all the time who want to do something like this in such a tight timeframe.

Look, expectation is the mother of all disappointments. But setting goals and setting on a well-charted course to reach them?

Well, that’s how you get where you want to go.

Don’t change the desired destination. Just pick the right path.

And when choosing the right path, coaching should absolutely be part of it. If you want to improve your posture, build functional strength, decrease//eliminate pain, and increase mobility, then let us help coach you through it.

Our program is based on what others don’t use. Its :

Specific: It’s not enough to “just move” and expect your body to figure out what you need. You need to be specific with what you tell it what you want to do.

Integrated: You need to use more than one or two ways of training. The body needs to work in many ways, and they all need to be integrated for a complete program.

Holistic: You must train the body holistically because that is how it’s designed. You are an interconnected, interdependent being; if that is not respected, you will train yourself to be unbalanced and dysfunctional. So even when specifically working with an area, the rest of your body must be used appropriately for holistic education.

Using these three pillars within a progressively coached program is the most sustainable, empowered way to longevity.
